Ippbxenterprise is an embedded telephone system specially designed for small and medium-sized enterprises. PBX (private exchange), in short, is the group telephone, which is widely used in the enterprise office, greatly improving the efficiency of the enterprise. But the traditional PBX has many problems. First of all, it does not support the emerging CTI (computer and telephone integration) and VoIP. Moreover, the traditional PBX uses special technology, lacks openness and standardization, and is expensive. In recent years, with the popularity of Internet and the success of IP, IP PBX based on IP protocol emerges as the times require, which is expected to solve the shortcomings of traditional PBX and VoIP.

IP PBX is a kind of company telephone system based on IP. It is also similar to IP PBX or IP-PBX. This system can fully integrate voice communication into the company's data network, so as to establish a unified voice and data network that can connect the offices and employees all over the world.

Many companies find that the traditional telephone system is not only expensive to maintain, but also has limitations in supporting employees to work separately. In order to make all communications unimpeded, it administrators are now starting to deploy the IP based corporate telephone system IP PBX. These systems can fully integrate voice communication into the company's data network, so as to establish a unified voice and data network that can connect offices and employees around the world.

The most prominent feature of IP PBX is to become an integrated communication system. Through the telecommunication network and Internet, only a single device is needed to provide users with voice, fax, data and video and other communication modes. It can also set up small and medium-sized call center, and the cost is low. By fully combining with the network software and hardware, the work efficiency is improved and the communication cost (time and cost) is saved.

IP PBX details


IP PBX telephone switch system will play an important role in the communication industry in the 21st century by integrating the functions of computer network and telephone switch. In the IP PBX network system, each telephone terminal uses IP mode for data communication, which can not only carry out calls, but also realize the transmission of text, data and image, unifies the telephone network and computer network into a whole, and realizes the electronic office in the LAN. Especially in the long-distance collaborative commerce and e-office, it will give full play to its strong resource advantages and bring convenience for business cooperation and work reorganization.

The control center in IP PBX LAN can effectively manage the computer network and telephone network according to the specific situation inside and outside the Bureau, so as to achieve resource sharing. With the help of Internet, IP PBX networks in different regions can realize long-distance communication, e-office and e-commerce.

Traditional PBX uses the principle of circuit switching to realize the function of group telephone, while IP PBX uses TCP / IP protocol and packet switching to realize the same function on Ethernet. IP PBX suite includes a centralized console software, a PSTN gateway supporting H.323 protocol, several Ethernet phones, and optional reverse gateway. Console software is the core part of IP PBX, which can configure telephone extension number, function button, call management and routing strategy; PSTN gateway is used to realize the communication between IP network and traditional circuit switched telephone network, and complete the call in and call out of heterogeneous network; reverse gateway is used to serve traditional analog telephone and fax machine.

When the user picks up the phone to call another party, the system will automatically send the dialing string and command to the console software, which will locate the address of the called party and accept the call application. Once the call is established, the subsequent voice traffic can be transmitted directly between the caller and the called without going through the console, which effectively reduces the delay.

In the network, H.323 clients (such as NetMeeting users) can also make calls with other phones. Before establishing a connection, they need to dial the other party's extension number, and then establish a connection after reaching the console. If the other party is busy, you can return a busy signal or transfer the call directly to the voice mailbox of the called party, depending on the setting of the other party.

IP PBX can also simulate circuit switching and make calls from IP network to traditional telephone network.
